The Future.

Cronus Scholars are leaders in the United States Army, who, through service and action, inspire others, establish positive influence in his/her community, and live the Ranger Creed.

Mission

The mission of the Cronus Scholars program is to enable the next generation of civilian leaders in their respective fields.

Cronus Scholars will receive a one time $2,500 scholarship to supplement expenses encompassing transitioning from active duty, living costs, books/tuition, or financial support while beginning a new chapter in public service and education.

Details

  • Applicants must be current or transitioning Soldiers pursuing higher education. Preference will be given to members of the 75th Ranger Regiment. All ranks are welcome to apply.

  • Applications for Academic Year 2023-2024 will be open from March 20, 2023 - July 31, 2023.

  • The 2023-2024 Scholarship is a one-time $2500 gift, will be awarded to multiple Scholars, and can be used to help facilitate the transition to an educational program - whether to tuition, books, rent: anything to help you prepare and support the next chapter!

How to apply:

Individuals must provide the following documents - emailed to HQ@CronusFit.org, subject line “CronusScholars”. Ensure your documents are scrubbed for SSN or any other sensitive information.

  1. Date of Entry into Active Service

  2. Separation Date or DD214

  3. Officer Record Brief or Enlistment Record Brief

  4. Verification of significant awards and decorations

  5. Two Essays (400 Words Each)

    1. How will you continue to support the Ranger and Veteran communities after completing your education?

    2. What does service in the military mean to you and how can it positively impact other communities?

  6. Acceptance Letter to University or Program

  7. Letter of Recommendation (1) and Point of Contact

  8. Photo (1 of 3 Required)

    1. In uniform

    2. Civilian Professional Attire

    3. Deployed or Training with your Unit or Ranger Battalion
